About The Role:

An Assistant Sales Executive is responsible for assisting in executing sales strategies, handling client follow-ups, preparing proposals, and supporting the sales cycle from prospecting to onboarding. They are expected to show initiative and grow into a more independent sales role over time.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Sales & Client Management
  • Independently manage the full sales cycle – from lead generation and qualification to negotiation and closing. 
  • Take charge of high-potential leads and key prospects with minimal supervision.
  • Conduct impactful consultations, both virtual and onsite, tailored to client needs.
  • Maintain an accurate, active pipeline and provide clear forecasting to the team lead or manager.
  1. Sales Material & Proposal Development
  • Develop customized sales presentations, proposals, and pricing strategies for clients.
  • Collaborate with marketing on high-impact sales campaigns and targeted materials.
  • Introduce improvements to proposals and workflows to support closing efficiency.
  1. Business Development & Strategic Outreach
  • Identify new markets, customer segments, and partnership opportunities.
  • Propose outreach initiatives, cold strategies, or campaigns to support sales targets
  • Represent the company at industry events and initiate partnerships with potential referrers or collaborators.
  1. Mentoring & Team Contribution
  • Guide and support Senior Sales Associates or Associates when required, including shadowing, onboarding support, and sharing best practices.
  • Serve as a role model in pipeline hygiene, client communication, and process ownership.
  1. Reporting & Sales Strategy Contribution
  • Analyse your own sales performance and pipeline movement to identify improvement areas.
  • Provide input on sales strategies, pricing feedback, and client objections to help improve team performance.
  • Support Sales Executive / Senior / Manager with preparation of business reviews and planning reports.
  1. Market Intelligence & Competitor Feedback
  • Conduct deeper market analysis, especially related to pricing, client behaviour, or competitor offerings.
  • Present actionable feedback that helps shape product positioning or offer design.
  1. Relationship Management & Account Handling
  • Build long-term relationships with clients, including key accounts.
  • Proactively explore upsell, cross-sell, and renewal opportunities.
  • Take the lead in resolving escalated client concerns with a solution-driven approach.
  1. Cross-Department Collaboration
  • Work closely with marketing, operations, and leadership to align on sales priorities.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery for new clients.
  • Provide internal feedback that contributes to continuous improvement across departments.
  1. Personal Development & Role Growth
  • Proactively pursue personal KPIs and take accountability for meeting sales targets.
  • Prepare yourself for potential elevation to Sales Executive or team leadership role.
  • Participate in advanced sales and product training sessions and contribute insights during reviews.
  1. Event, Campaign & Project Support & Coordination
  • Take the lead in planning and executing targeted sales campaigns, including strategy, messaging, and follow-up planning.
  • Represent the sales team during company events, roadshows, or activations, with ownership of pre-event prep and post-event conversion tracking.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (marketing, operations, community) for smooth campaign or event execution.
  • Provide structured follow-ups and client engagement based on event-generated leads.
  • Support business development projects and contribute insights or execution support on market expansion or product launches.

Qualifications:

Minimum degree in Real Estate/ Business or a related field.

Experience & Skills:

  1. Proven Sales Experience
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in B2B sales or a similar role, preferably in coworking space, real estate, service-based industries.
  1. Strong Communication & Negotiation Skills
  • Able to confidently present solutions, handle objections, and close deals effectively with a consultative approach.
  1. Leadership & Team Collaboration
  • Demonstrates initiative, guides junior team members, and works well with cross-functional teams to drive results.
  1. Tech & Tool Proficiency
  • Skilled in CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and Canva for proposal creation and client presentations.

** This role may require to travel when tour appointments are scheduled and occasional travel to other districts for sales support.
